Discover the World Responsibly: Connecting Cultures & Preserving NatureSustainable tourism

At KanKan TOURS, we firmly believe in responsible and sustainable tourism. Our tours are thoughtfully designed to promote meaningful interactions with local communities, including farmers, indigenous groups, and local artisans. We proudly collaborate with economically marginalized communities, supporting their livelihoods and preserving their rich cultural heritage.

We follow the "Leave No Trace" principles, ensuring that our presence has minimal impact on the landscapes we explore. Our guests are encouraged to respect wildlife, flora, and cultural sites, leaving them untouched for future generations.
Our tours prioritize sustainable transportation methods, utilizing low-impact options such as hybrid vehicles & eco-friendly modes of travel, reducing the overall footprints of the journey.

We believe that awareness leads to action. Throughout your journey, our guides provide educational insights into the delicate ecosystems and environmental challenges faced by the regions you visit. By understanding the importance of conservation, you become part of the solution.

Excellent tour! Alejandro was accommodating, friendly, fun, knowledgeable and a very safe driver. We had some specific requests for what we wanted to see, especially in Tequila, and he met our goals 100 percent! He is fluent in English, our native language, so communication before and during the tour was excellent. He picked us up at our hotel and we left Guadalajara by 7:45 a.m. We were the only people at Guachimontones, which was really nice. Although we enjoyed a full day, we were back before the afternoon traffic. He also took us to a great restaurant in Tequila Town for lunch. Strongly recommended Alejandro and also the experience in general. It was a day well spent.

This was an excellent, well lead and run tour that I would recommend to anyone. Our guide, Alejandro, was absolutely superb and comfortable in both English and Spanish. Los Gauchimontones was a hidden gem with a fascinating history and Alejandro was able to answer our many questions, and the museum is small but very interesting. The town of Tequila was lovely and doing a tequila tasting was an excellent way to end the day. The sights are wonderful, Alejandro was a great driver and guide, and it was well worth it.

If you’re debating, opt for this trip with Alejandro. (Unless you want to get extremely drunk, you don’t need a whole day and Tequila.) He’s a treasure trove of information and enthusiasm. He was timely, helpful and considerate. He steared me to great food and provided plenty of cold drinks. Wonderful!

This trip far exceeded my expectations. While we wanted to visit Tequila to check that box, seeing the pyramids was a great way to learn about the region and and a bit of its history as well. The archeological site is more than just a pyramid: it’s an entire complex, complete with museum. Alejandro was a great guide and the group was small. Well worth the cost!
